The NEXTYPE Foundation launched NEXTYPE in November 2020 as an integrated application ecosystem that combines GAME, NFT, and DeFi on multiple blockchains. The primary goal of NEXTYPE is to create more efficient and flexible protocols for swapping NFTs and provide users with high-quality blockchain games.

The first game developed by NEXTYPE is called MiningTycoon, which follows the traditional game development path and incorporates virtual mining as its core gameplay. In addition to receiving NT rewards, players can also obtain other beneficial items such as mining licenses. These licenses are essential for participating in the BTC mining pool and acquiring NFT items with powerful effects in the game. By collecting and staking mining licenses, players can mine BTC on a daily basis.

Apart from MiningTycoon, NEXTYPE plans to launch 8-10 self-developed games this year and collaborate with at least 10 other games to create a diverse range of NEXTYPE games.

In terms of underlying technology, NEXTYPE has developed the NFT Value Exchange Protocol (NVEP) and NFT Cross-Chain Protocol (NCCP) to address the challenges in NFT transactions. The smart contracts used by NEXTYPE have been audited by CERTIK to ensure their reliability and security.

NEXTYPE has received strong support from HECO and has established strategic partnerships with SeeSea Japan, a well-known Japanese company, and Quaras, a subsidiary of Fuji Media. This indicates a promising start for NEXTYPE in the Japanese IP market. Additionally, NEXTYPE has been invited to join the Blockchain Game Alliance (BGA).

The ultimate aim of NEXTYPE is to redefine the concept of next-generation blockchain games.
