Stone is the proprietary token of the Civilization ecosystem (civfund.org). It is being launched in anticipation of the release of Civilization's second product, CivFarm, which is a farming platform. By depositing assets on CivFarm, users will have the chance to earn stone as a form of reward. Following a vote by the Civilization DAO, the community has defined the various purposes of the new token. These include owning the CIV Intellectual Property, purchasing CIV game credits, donating to charity based on community guidance, trading on CivTrade, farming on CivFarm, acquiring Civilization Utility NFTs, making purchases on civstore.com, providing liquidity, and investing in marketing and development. As the civilization ecosystem and community grow, additional utilities for the token will be introduced in the future. The initial transfer tax, combined with the Automatic Buy and Burn mechanism, will contribute to the deflation of CIV and 0NE, reinforcing the existing mechanisms described in the Civilization whitepaper.
