Kommunitas functions as a decentralized crowdfunding system for web3.0 projects. It goes beyond being merely a platform by creating a comprehensive ecosystem. In addition to facilitating fundraising for web3.0 projects across different blockchain networks, such as Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Solana, Avax, Fantom, and others, Kommunitas also offers various forms of support like marketing, community management, connections to key opinion leaders (KOLs) and venture capitalists (VCs), search engine optimization (SEO), and even project development assistance such as a vesting portal and staking platform.
From its inception, Kommunitas has introduced innovative concepts to the web3.0 industry. These include the Initial KOMmunity Offering (IKO), which is a tierless and decentralized initial DEX offering (IDO), and Social Engagement Burning, a method of rewarding community engagement on social media by reducing the circulating supply of the token.
Investors not only have the opportunity for capital gains from their investment in public sale tokens but also have the potential to earn passive revenue sharing in stable coins and KOM tokens through holding and staking KOM tokens.
Kommunitas distinguishes itself from competitors with three main features:
1. Tier-Less System: The allocation of tokens a user receives is proportionate to the amount of KOM tokens they stake, without any tier or entry barriers. This means that all KOM holders can participate in the launchpad without the stress of needing to hold a minimum number of tokens to take part in a public sale. The more KOM tokens they stake, the greater their allocation.
2. Revenue Sharing: This feature is exclusive to private partners. 30% of the fees collected from first-come, first-served (FCFS) and community rounds will be pooled into a treasury wallet for private partners. At the end of each quarter, the collected funds in USDC will be distributed among private partners who hold more than 500K staked KOM tokens.
3. Priority Projects Criteria: Kommunitas aims to onboard high-quality projects that meet specific criteria. These criteria include requirements such as having locked liquidity in a 1:1 ratio based on their initial market capitalization and the token price not falling below the IKO price for three consecutive days before 50% of the tokens are vested. Further details about the priority projects criteria are available for further understanding.
