Gains Network is currently working on developing gTrade, an advanced decentralized trading platform that offers high liquidity, efficiency, and user-friendliness. Unlike other platforms, gTrade has a unique synthetic design that maximizes capital efficiency, resulting in lower trading fees. It also offers a wide range of leverages and pairs, including up to 150x on cryptocurrencies, 1000x on forex, 100x on stocks, and 35x on indices.

The foundation of this protocol revolves around two types of utility tokens: ERC20 utility token (GNS) and ERC721 utility token (NFTs). The GNS token and NFTs have dual purposes. Firstly, they are actively utilized within the platform for various operations. Additionally, they enable token holders to have ownership of the protocol through revenue capture and governance, although this feature will be available in the near future.

Several benefits are associated with holding GNS tokens. For instance, GNS holders can receive platform fees through a process called Single Sided Staking. Moreover, GNS can be burned using platform revenue. On the other hand, NFT holders enjoy advantages such as reduced spread and increased rewards. Additionally, NFT bots facilitate the execution of limit orders and liquidations.

The long-term vision for gTrade is to become the leading decentralized leveraged trading platform, while Gains Network aims to transform into a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) governed by the GNS token or a derivative like veGNS. The primary objective is to create exceptional DeFi products that generate revenue to be distributed among the members who participate in the GNS staking pool.

To achieve this, the development process of Gains Network expands horizontally. Teams are encouraged to propose governance suggestions and receive funding from the governance system. This approach guarantees the creation of cutting-edge products that generate income for GNS token holders.
